Checking In

The last week has been crazy. I posted a couple weeks ago that several of my co-workers were laid off. Well, their projects were dumped on me. I’ll delegate them onto other teams, but first I have to understand them, and this has required a LOT of work.
I’ve also been implementing an idea for my book selling. It has worked better than I ever imagined, and I’ve been spending numerous hours stuffing books into envelopes and shipping them. I’ll write more about this idea tomorrow or the next day.

Extra unexpected work always sucks but sometimes there’s nothing that can be done about it other than putting your nose to the grindstone.
I’m definitely interested about your book selling adventures.
