Busy Week
By Jay | March 28, 2008
Finally it’s Friday, and I’m done with another week of work. This week has been by far the most intense of my 8 years at my company. We’re having some technology infrastructure problems due to the layoffs a month ago, and I’ve been responsible for cleaning up a couple serious messes. Just call me a virtual janitor, cleaning up virtual messes across the websites of the financial world…..
One good thing is, all these hours of work have kept me occupied and not spending money. If I work past 7 my company pays for my dinner, so I’ve enjoyed a fine meal every night this week from some good Midtown Manhattan takeout places. I don’t think I’ve spent more than $20 since Monday.
I’ll be putting in some hours over the weekend, too. I hope it slows down soon. I miss blogging, and all of my other normal non-work activities. These busy phases happen sometimes, so I just need to be patient & get through it.

Hi Jay,
Hopefully your long schedule won’t last too long. I look forward to reading your blog.
